| This pilot confirmed
a story of the Strike Eagle's first unofficial air-to-air kill. During Operation Desert Storm an F-15E dropped a guided bomb on
an Iraqi helicopter IN MID AIR! The counters have refused to
score the event as an air-to-air but the Strike Eagle crews are
proud to claim the victory. |
