The seat was molded in black, with very
little detail. The headrest was the only
part shaped correctly. I added masking
tape strips and wire for the harnesses. |

With a little paint they pass as
the Lockheed SR-1 (later F-1) ejection seats they're supposed to be. |

The kit had one of it's nosewheel
landing lights but I had to built the
other light and steering actuator
out of my scrap box. |

I made the brakeruns for the main
undercarriage out of wire. |

The Habu's tires are made of aluminum-
impregnated-rubber in order to withstand
the tremendous heat inside the gear bays
during flight at mach 3+. |

Here is a behind-the-scenes look at how
my photos are taken. The tarmac is a
piece of ply-board that sits on top of a
trashcan in my driveway. When I point
the camera out towards the wheat field
behind my house...MAGIC!

truck in the picture). |
